One word best describes my Turkey experience and that is… "magical.”

I can never forget the sense of wonder I felt after setting eyes on the fairy chimneys, cave houses, cave hotels, and beautiful rock formations at Cappadocia. It's like stepping into fairytale land! I was in awe as I stepped into the bright, white terraces  filled with aquamarine hot water at Pamukale. I can never forget the exhilaration I felt when I rode the Hot Air Balloon. It's like being in a different dimension seeing everything so small down there & feeling the cold wind caressing your face up in the sky. I felt deeply moved when I visited Mama Mary's house at Mt. Nightingale & St. John's tomb at Ephesus. I can't believe I walked the path once trodden by the Apostles as I went around Basilica of St. John, Library of Celsus, and other ruins nearby. Sailing through the seas of Bodrum aboard a Gulet was so relaxing that you just want to stay there forever. It felt so tranquil as we watched the sunset at the waterfront promenade of Izmir. And who can ever forget the bustling city of Istanbul! The Hagia Sofia, the Blue Mosque, the Cisterns are all so impressive.

Turkey is  a country where one gets to  experience the 4 seasons in 10 days. We arrived feeling the Autumn cold but woke up the  following morning to knee high snow. Had a hot humid morning only to be rained upon in the afternoon. And the food? Sooo good! I can never get enough of the pistachio (in all forms) & the fresh sea foods.

Our South America (Argentina-Brazil-Peru) trip was truly unforgettable and full of once-in-a-lifetime experiences. One of the biggest highlights was my very first helicopter ride—it was both exciting and breathtaking. Seeing the stunning Perito Moreno Glacier from up close was beyond anything I had imagined. The sheer size and crisp blue beauty of the ice were absolutely mesmerizing. And who would forget the moment I was standing at Devil's Throat at Iguazú Falls on the Brazilian side. The power, roar, and mist of the waterfalls were simply awe-inspiring.

To top it all off, our private journey aboard the luxurious Hiram Bingham train to Machu Picchu was an unforgettable experience in itself.
